Data controller

The data controller is Francesca Benvenuti, who runs the holiday home Casa Priscilla (Via Mazzini, Imperia, Italy). For any request you can write to info@casapriscilla.it.

What data we collect

• Browsing data (analytics): only if you give consent, we use Google Analytics, which collects in aggregate form your IP address, pages visited, device and browser type, referral source and visit duration. Without your consent Google Analytics is not loaded.
• Data you send us: if you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, message content) only to reply to you and manage a possible stay.

We do not collect special categories of data and we do not carry out advertising profiling.

Why we process the data

• Analytics: based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
• Replying to your requests: to answer your enquiry and take pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and for our legitimate interest in replying to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and similar tools

• Technical (always active): we store in your browser the language you chose (cp_lang) and your cookie choice (cp_consent). They are needed for the site to work and do not require consent.
• Analytics (only with consent): Google Analytics 4 sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies, lasting up to 13 months, to distinguish visits.

You can change your mind at any time using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

Who we share data with

• Google Ireland Ltd — visit analytics (Google Analytics).
• Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery.
• Aruba — domain and email.

If you click the Airbnb, Booking or WhatsApp buttons you leave this website: from that moment the privacy notices of those platforms apply.

Data may be transferred outside the European Union (for example to the United States) on the basis of the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Analytics: up to 14 months.
• Emails and messages: for as long as needed to handle your request and any stay, and to comply with legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to the processing, and withdraw your consent. Just write to info@casapriscilla.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
